The newly elected Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogun State, Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate has dispelled the rumour that he belonged to a division in the party, saying emphatically that he is of APC and that he represented All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Chairman made this declaration while fielding questions from battery of Journalists at the
premises of Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC)
Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta immediately after receiving his certificate of return.
On the issue of autonomy of the Local Government, Ogbeni Odulate stated if the policy sailed through it would certainly enhance the performances of Local Government Chairmen, while lauding the leadership quality of Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of the state.
Odulate whose election has come a few days after clocking 40, said he considered his victory as the the greatest gift any one could get, promising that as someone in the class of youths, he would represent that age group as resourcefully as possible.
Odulate said the people should expected good governance, quality representation within the next four years. ” I’m convinced the people of Sagamu have already decided what they want with their votes, and we will work hard to provide that from security matters to infrastructural development”, the newly sworn in Chairman stressed.
