CP TASKS OFFICERS ON PROFESSIONALISM, DISCIPLINE AND RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS… Seeks community support in the fight against criminals

The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State, CP, Hussaini Rabiu has charged officers and men of the three (3) Divisions at the respective Divisional Police Headquarters to be more alive to their responsibilities.

The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Police Command, CP Hussaini Rabiu gave this charge on Tuesday during his our of familiarisation to Area Commands and Divisions with Anka Area Command that comprises Anka, Gummi and Bukkuyum Divisions

In a release signed by SP Mohammed Shehu, Police Public Relation Officer, Zamfara State Police Command he charged them to always work in line with the constitutional provision and other professional ethics, so that good image and credibility of the Force can be projected.

According to the release the tour was necessitated by the need for him to familiarise himself with the officers and men of the command as well as to assess the existing security arrangements in the state.

CP Hussaini during the visit paid a courtesy call on Royal Highnesses, the Emirs of Anka, Gummi and Bukkuyum Emirates, where he commended them for their support and cooperation to the Police and other security agencies and solicits for more support to successfully bring the lingering security challenges to an end.

The Commissioner also used the opportunity to interface with other security personnel where he called for a robust inter-agency Cooperation and synergy as well as cross – fertilisation of timely and credible information that will assist in taking prompt action against the activities of criminal elements.

Earlier in their response, the three (3) Emirs and the Local government sole Administrators commended the CP and officers of the Command for their unalloyed commitment and sacrifice in ensuring peace and safety of Zamfara State, and therefore promised to sustain and improve the existing working relationship with the security agencies in the state.
