Security buff, Deacon Shola Shodiyan has been bestowed with the chieftaincy title of AARE Akinrogun of Ikenne-Remo in Ogun State, and his wife, Princess Hassisat Olamide Irawo-Shodiyan earned that of Yeye Aare Akinrogun by His Royal Highness, Oba Adeyinka Onakade, Alakenne of Ikenne-Remo.
The couple were honoured on May 27, 2021 by the monarch along other eminent sons and daughters of the land as part of the activities of his 10th year coronation anniversary, held in Ikenne-Remo from May 24-28, 2021.
The installation which also coincided with the 40+1 Birthday celebration of Princess Hassisat Irawo-Shodiyan started in the early hours of the day with a special Church service held at Redeemed Christians Church of God, House of Prayer parish, Ogun Province Eleven Headquarters, Ikenne-Remo before the couple joined the Alakenne, other traditional rulers in Remo kindom, chiefs and eminent sons and daughters who gathered at the at palace.
After decoration with the insignia and paraphernalia of their titles, the celebration train moved to ECCO Centre, Ikenne-Remo where guests from far and near were entertained to sumptuous meals and assorted drink.
