Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in furtherance of his government’s mantra of ‘building our future together’ has called for a parley among Stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC) across all the 20 local government areas of the state as well as past and present office holders in the state.

The parley which is segregated into two, planned to hold at the Presidential Lodge, Ibara Housing Estate, Abrokuta
will see the Governor meeting with APC leaders from Ogun Central Senatorial District on Friday, May 14, 2021 starting from 3.00 PM prompt.

On Saturday, May 15, 2021, it will be the turn of stakeholders of the party from Ogun East and Ogun West Senatorial Districts. The meeting holds at the same venue by 12 noon.

Information pertaining to this epochal meeting reeled out by Kunle Somorin, Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Dapo Abiodun further stated that Invitees for the meeting are in two categories:

I. All past and present holders of the following offices:

A. Governors
B. Deputy Governors
C. Secretary to the State Government
D. Chief of Staff
E. Commissioners
F. National Assembly members
G. Special Advisers
H. Speakers and members of the State Assembly
I. State Chairmen of APC
J. Local Government Council chairmen

In the second category are present occupants of the following offices:

Governor’s Advisory Council
Board Chairmen
Commissioners in statutory commissions
Senior Special Assistants
Special Assistants
Local Government Party chairmen
Local Government council vice chairmen
State party officers
LG council
The meeting is strictly by invitation.

The statement added, “His Excellency extends his best wishes to all the invited stakeholders and indeed all members of the APC family in Ogun State”.
