The race for the player who wins the European Golden Shoe award has now become a huge discussion amongst football enthusiasts across the world as things currently stand, particularly evaluating the chances of European players in the major European leagues.

The weekend saw players scoring goals in games played across Europe which provided opportunities to contending players to add to their goal tallies.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Mohammed Salah all found the back of the nets. Limiting this assessment
amongst players in Europe’s top five leagues, this is how the table toppers are:
