Aarebirin, the Global Coordinator of Yoruba Council of Women, World-wide and Yeye Arewa Oodua has extended Easter greetings to all Christian faithfuls in the Nigeria and the world over wishing them a very happy Easter.

Honourable Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba who is also the National Deputy Chairman ( Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria and Vice Chairman, Ikorodu local Government in her Easter message to said: “As Easter is being celebrated all over the world in memory of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Christians should remember the true meaning of Easter and the sacrifice of love Jesus Christ made for humanity. There is no Nation above the nation of Humanity and that we should show love and compassion to one another always”.

On the security challenges and COVID-19 pandemic , she urged the people to celebrate the occasion in a modest way and be security conscious and observe all health and safety regulations.

Aarebirin Folashade Olabanji-Oba however, urged Christian faithfuls and people of other beliefs to Pray and join hands together in this regards, so that the Nigerian nation and indeed the world could overcome the security challenges. “As we celebrate Easter,
By His abundance Grace, l decree that the Lord will make us comfortable and great by his
Divine mercy. Anywhere we go from today we will not be humiliated but celebrated.

“As the Lord lives and His Spirit liveth, we will not mourn over any member of our families but rejoice and be glad.

“Whatever represents defeat in our lives, shall be turned to Victory.
The Almighty God will by His mercy turn our story around and we will rejoice over our enemies.
From now we are empowered by His mercy to reign and dominate all situations and circumstances we find ourselves in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
