SDG PROJECT: COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE COMMISSIONED IN IJEBU-ODE

Towards accessible healthcare delivery, the Federal Government, under the Sustainable Developmental Goals Programme (SDGs), in conjunction with Ogun
State Government, has constructed a Community Health Centre at Itaogbin in Ijebu-Ode.
Speaking during the commissioning and handing-over of the centre, the Transition Committee Chairman, Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Engr. Olugbenga Olugbile, said the provision of affordable and qualitative healthcare remained a priority of Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration, appreciating
the Federal and State governments for the gesture.
The LG boss appealed that such project should be replicated in other parts of the council area, promising to fast-track provision of equipment at the Health Centre.
Also speaking, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Adeolu Olufowobi said the centre would give the community access to affordable and
qualitative health care.
