In a bid to make life comfortable for its workforce in the face of challenges, occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, Ogun State Government has extended the distribution of food Palliatives to its workforce.

The distribution, according to the Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Mr. Femi Ogunbanwo, was the first phase of government’s food palliative to its workforce, reaffirming the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration’s commitment to improving standard of living of Public Servants in the State.

“The distribution of food palliative across Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government is a testimony of the Governor’s commitment to his mandate of worker friendly governance, knowing fully well that workers are partners in progress”, he said.

Speaking on behalf of workers, Mrs. Olufunke Adebari and Mr. Olajide Oyenekan, appreciated government for not jettisoning the workers in the palliative distribution.
