Officers and Men of the So-Safe Corps, Ilaro Area Command have recovered a stolen bike at Ileba area of Ilaro. This was disclosed by the force Director of Information and Public Relation, ACC Moruf Yusuf.
Our Reporter gathered that on receiving information about the theft of the bike, the State Commander of So-Safe Corps Commander Soji Ganzallo last week Monday July 20,2020 ordered Ilaro Area Command of the Corps to investigate the case and their efforts, with the support of the people of the area who provided useful tips, led to the recovery.
The motor bike belonging to one Joseph Michael, we gathered was stolen where it was parked in a farmland at Ileba of Ilaro, in Yewa South Local Government Area before it was recovered by a highly trained special squad of the So Safe Corps.
The stolen motorbike with the registration number QE256LAR, Engine number IE50IM595181, CHASIS NO: BE11G057482 was recovered from a suspect, Zeniteni Sojineh who had kept it inside a bush around Ahmadiyya area of Idogo, Yewa South. It was reportedly hidden under the grass.
The suspect who has confessed to the crime was on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 transferred to the Nigeria Police ,Ilaro Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution .
