OGUN PARTNERS CISCO TO TRAIN CIVIL SERVANTS, TECH ENTHUSIASTS


Education and skill building of the next generation requires digital economy, hence the need to train individuals on the use of computer.

Speaking at a meeting in Abeokuta, the Director of Information Technology, Bureau of Information Technology, Mrs. Olatundun Adekunte, said Ogun Tech Hub, in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy was planning training for certified Civil Servants and Tech Enthusiasts in the State, on the use of computer, connect devices, search engines, emails and social media.

According to her, “The digital world is upon us, both personally and professionally, having a better understanding of the Internet, computers and Social Media can be a big help towards acquiring digital skills. Once you have these skills, there are many more possibilities opened to you as far as career advancement is concerned”.

The Director said the course content of the training would be user friendly and interactive for participants, while interested candidate should go online to register on http://www.netcad.com from May 20, 2020, saying possession of good smartphone, Laptop and Internet would be an added advantage.
