Youths of Yoruba extraction have expressed their position on the 60 years reign of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Ogbagba 11, The Awujale of Ijebu-Ode, describing it as a reign of profundity of achievements.

The apex Yoruba youths umbrella organization, Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide(YCYW) heartily Congratulated Oba Adetona on his 60th Years Coronation Anniversary and wished him many more years developmental strides.

According the President of the group Aare Oladotun Hassan, “Indeed it has been 60 years of conscientious struggles, landmark achievements and monumental greatness of Ijebu land and Ogun State beyond lips and bounds, and by extension to the entire Yoruba Land, Nigeria, Africa and globally ever since the ascension of His Majesty to the throne of his ancestors”.

He said Oba Adetona has indeed resonated royalty, wisdom and candor in Ijebu Land, while promoting the aesthetic Yoruba cultural heritage and traditions.

He continued, “We are indeed grateful to God Almighty for granting His Majesty this joyous day and time as a leading Yoruba monarch of class and prestige, whose reign has brought unprecedented growth and development to the Ijebu Land, Ogun State and entire Yoruba Land”.

Aare Hassan used the occasion of the 60the anniversary of Adetona to call for peace and synergy between the Ogun State traditional religion and the Ogun State House of Assembly to work together on the progress, promotion and development of the Yoruba cultural heritage and values.

“May God Almighty continue to enrich His Majesty with long life in good health, divine wisdom and supernatural grace. Happy 60th Coronation Anniversary. Ade Apelori, Bata A’pelese, Irukere A’di Okini”, he prayed.
