The Management of Federal Univerity of Agriculture Abeokuta, (FUNAA) has warned that any students caught in the act of indecent dressing would incur the wrath of the University.
In a circular on behalf of the Management, Professor Babatunde, Dean of Students Affairs noted with displeasure, the acts of indecent dressing and unkempt appearances are on the rise among the teeming students of the University.
It reiterated Management’s directive that any student caught dressing contrary to the University’s Code of Dress would be dealt with in accordance with the Extant University Rules and Regulations.
The Circular also reads in part that, “It has been observed that the responsibility of counselling the students against these acts has been left to the Division alone, hence, as directed by the Vice-Chancellor, Deans of Colleges, Core-Course Lecturers, Senior Members of Staff in the Colleges and Departments are hereby encouraged to counsel students on indecent dressing”.
He stated that, based on the directives, on and off Campus students, at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels were admonished to adhere strictly to the directive.
