OWUTECH SETS FOR IST MATRICULATION


Owu College of Management and Technology (OWUTECH) Is set to hold its first matriculation ceremony on Thursday March 28, 2019.

According to a Press release on Monday March 28, 2019 signed by the Registrar of the college, Mr Dapo Kolawole, the event which promises to be minds edifying would hold at the college permanent site, KM 1 Ogbere Road, Wasimi, Ewekoro, Local Government, Ogun state.

Owu College of Management Technology (OWUTECH) is a private institution approved by Federal Ministry of Education, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and accredited by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)

The Registrar stated that they took the bold step to invest in Education, particularly in the area of Technology for the technological development of the Nigerian Nation because of their believe that growth is technological driven and that no country could grow without evolving a fundamental step of developing her citizens in the field of technology.

Kolawole disclosed that the founding fathers of the institution understood that technology has turned the world into a global village and that at the college, their motto which is, “learn today and lead tomorrow” served as a base for their philosophy to foster technical academic excellence aimed at producing self sufficient, practical oriented individuals in a highly stimulating environment devoid of discriminations within this global village

The college which is a higher institution of learning of Diploma awarding status has approved courses in various disciplines which include among others:
Engineering/Technology, Arts and management, Pure and Applied Science and Environmental Studies.

Kolawole further explained, “in the School of Science & Technology we have the following courses; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics and Science Laboratory Technology SLT. In the school of Arts and Management we offer Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Mass Communication and Secretarial Administration”
