All roads will today February 19, 2019 lead to the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State in South Western state of Nigeria when Governorship candidates of the political parties will be flaunting their uniqueness at a debate.

The debate, organized by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, according to the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Lanre Ogunyinka is amongst other reasons aimed at fostering unity among the contestants; providing the platform to intimate the Media with their manifestoes in order for the Media to report adequately to the mass of the people.

The first phase started about a week ago at Iwe Irohin, Oke Ilewo with aspirants for the House of Representatives and Senate with many justling for the Blue and Red Chambers attending and convincingly reeling out their plans for their teeming constituents in an atmosphere of conviviality.

Today according to the Organising Committee promises to be momentous as the Governorship candidates of the participating parties are eagerly prepared to leave nothing to chances in their drive to win many more electors to their army of followers.

On the other hand, invited members of the public as well as the organisers of the the debate are expectantly waiting to watch the participating Governorship candidates avail themselves the immeasurable opportunities the platform offers.

The event is billed for 4:00 this evening at the cinema Hall of the cultural Centre, Kuta, Abeokuta, and will be broadcast live on many television and radio stations. Invited guests are expected to be seated by 4:00 prompt..
