A Monarch in the Ngerian Nation has warned youths to steer clear of political violence at this electioneering period in Nigeria.
Giving this warning at the recently concluded Sagamu Day Celebration, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland said it was imperative to advise our youth at this point to eschew violence and not allow themselves to be used to fight against one another for political gains, because according to him regardless of political differences they were one.
The cerebral Lawyer, Accountant and Traditional Ruler of one of the main four divisions of Ogun state in the South Western part of Nigeria told them to remember that were siblings, adding that after politics they would all come back home.
The celebrated insolvency expert and Royal Father advised that people should embrace peaceful coexistence amongst one another and the country in Nigeria. “I wish to emphasised the necessity and importance of peaceful coexistence amongst ourselves at all times”, he stated.
In his address of welcome the President of Sagamu Development Association, Professor Babatunde Ogunsanwo stated that the annual celebration has become a platform for fund raising for the development of the land. He poured encomium on sons and daughters of the land as well as well wishers who have and still making contributions to the association.
Professor Ogunsanwo thanked in particular the great philanthropist, Sir Kesington Adebukola Adebutu, renowned Industrialist, Chief Solomon Kayode Onafowokan, the Grand Rally Chairman, Taye Akewusola and a few others for their immense contributions.
